EvoAI - Computational Linguistics Lab

The EvoAI - Computational Linguistics Lab at UNT explores language with computational methods, using tools from information theory, Bayesian inference, and artificial intelligence to understand the development, patterns, and evolution of languages. Current projects include implementing information theory approaches to the decipherment of undeciphered scripts, and analyzing information theoretic meta-properties  with Bayesian models to compare natural and constructed languages (conlangs).
