Language Bits and Bytes: Computational Linguistics Coding Camp

What is the Language Bits and Bytes: Computational Linguistics Coding Camp?
The camp will provide local high school students with an introduction to the field of computational linguistics regardless of their technical background. No coding skills are required. This will be a five-day camp with each day running from 9am to 3pm, with a half-hour lunch and two ten-minute breaks. Each day will focus on a topic in the field of computational linguistics, including the first day, which will focus on learning to code in Python. Other topics will include natural language processing, machine learning, neural networks, and how these concepts relate to the study of language. Watch a video highlight from last summer's camp.
